Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. in Alliance, Nebraska is seeking a Service Technician - CDL to provide customer service and maintenance within a regional area. You will ensure unit uptime and support railroad fuel economy and wheel/rail life.

The role requires CDL eligibility, railroad safety training, and a willingness to travel; you will perform lubrication, service programs, manage vehicle inventory, and coordinate with Sales to meet customer expectations.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintain railroad safety training and certifications.
• Ability to obtain a CDL.
• Pre-employment physical examination and role-specific assessments (DOT, DS/BAT, HPE, audiogram).
• eVerifile/eRailSafe background check compliance.
• Valid driver’s license; MVR checks on hire and annually.

Mansioni

• Lubricate top-of-rail and gauge-face units per guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Manage inventory on the maintenance vehicle per company processes.
• Plan work, develop schedules, and adjust for problems to meet objectives.
• Process work orders, delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns.
