Cando Rail & Terminals in Shelby, MT is seeking Transload Operators to provide safe and efficient rail car loading and unloading services to customers. Working in a safety‑conscious environment, team players who enjoy outdoor work and problem solving will fit well.

Operators perform daily inspections, connect product transfers, complete logs, support switching teams, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding Cando's strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Experience with transloading is a plus
• Ability to read and write general documentation including safety briefs
• Must be physically fit for lifting up to 50 pounds and walking up to 2 miles daily
• Familiarity with Excel and Outlook preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of transloading equipment and follow procedures
• Make all product transfer connections
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and safety devices
• Report safety and equipment problems
• Complete daily reports and logs
• Support switching teams as needed
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding safety culture
• Participate in training and company initiatives
