Job summary

Savage Services is seeking personnel for Lima, OH to support daily refinery and rail operations. The role involves loading/unloading railcars, operating transfer equipment, inspections, and documentation in an industrial environment.

12-hour shifts from 5AM to 5PM are required, with outdoor work and safety procedures emphasized. Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant industrial experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• One year of industrial, rail, terminal, refinery, manufacturing, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with a commitment to working safely in an industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills for electronic reporting, training, and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload petroleum products and bulk commodities from railcars.
• Operate pumps, valves, loading arms, hoses, and related equipment.
• Assist with movement and transfer of materials between railcars, tanks, and refinery systems.
• Perform pre-use inspections of equipment, railcars, and work areas.
• Complete daily operating reports, inspection records, and shipping documents.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
