Job summary

PSC Group is hiring full-time Railcar Repair Technicians to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing repairs. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders, following blueprints, welding and fabricating with basic tools, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. On-the-job training is provided; a valid TWIC and driver’s license may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs.
• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of machines and tools for welding, cutting, gouging.
• Must be able to pass drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• On-site attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs
• Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge
• Notes materials and/or equipment needed to complete tasks
• Adheres to safety rules and ARS/EHS policies
• Ensures compliance with AAR, ARS and customer quality standards
• Performs other duties as assigned to complete tasks
