Job summary

Transco Railcar Repair, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Railcar Repair Technician to conduct repairs and inspections on tank cars. You’ll lead with teamwork, follow current procedures, and ensure safety while meeting customer expectations.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand tools, and a valid driver's license. The role offers a 6:00 am–2:00 pm schedule, overtime as needed, and comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving and decision-making.
• Able to perform basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Strong customer relations and teamwork.
• Must work safely and follow procedures.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead repair and maintenance on tank cars with safety focus.
• Perform railcar inspections and repairs per current procedures.
• Provide customer support and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle invoicing, inspections, and work order data.
• Maintain certifications and comply with AAR rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
