Position: Railcar Repair Technician

Location: Louisville, KY

Summary: PSC Group is hiring a full-time Railcar Repair Technician to work safely around heavy equipment, railcars, and railroad tracks, coordinating and completing railcar repairs. We offer training and a stable, long-term career opportunity in a safety-focused environment.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with flexibility for overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.

Pay Range:

Starting at $24.00/hr

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Interpret work orders and blueprints/schematics for repairs.
2. Utilize basic mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge.
3. Notify materials and equipment needs.
4. Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
5. Ensure quality standards are met.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training available.
2. Valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card may be required.
3. Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
4. Pass drug, physical, and background checks.
5. Military experience is a plus.
