Railcar Repair Technician
Louisville, KY

PSC Group is hiring a full-time Railcar Repair Technician to work safely around heavy equipment, railcars, and railroad tracks, coordinating and completing all railcar repairs. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexibility for overtime, nights, and weekends is required.

Pay Range: Starting at $25.00/hr

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret work orders and follow blueprints/schematics for repairs
• Use mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge
• Notify required materials and equipment needs
• Follow safety rules, keep work area clean, and comply with safety policies
• Meet quality assurance standards of AAR, ARS, and customers
• Perform other duties as needed to complete tasks

Job Qualifications:

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training available
• Valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card may be required depending on location
• Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass drug screening, physical, and background check
• Military experience and ability to follow procedures are a plus
