PSC Group is now hiring a full-time Railcar Repair Technician that will work safely around heavy equipment, railcars and railroad tracks to coordinate and compete all railcar repairs. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, straight days


Pay Range: $22.00-$24.00 / hr.



Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs

  • Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge

  • Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks

  • Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies

  • Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met

  • Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task


Job Qualifications:

  • Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available

  • May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location

  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

  • Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
