Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking skilled individuals for Railcar Repair Technician openings at our local railcar facility. The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 A.M.–1:30 P.M. The pay starts at $20/hour and can increase with experience, with room for advancement after hire.

Candidates must pass pre-employment screenings, have a valid driver’s license, and read maintenance instructions and blueprints for repairs. Applicants will perform repairs on railcars using basic mechanics, grinding, and a variety

Responsibilities

• Read maintenance instructions, blueprints and manuals to perform repairs.
• Work on top of railcars to perform repairs using basic mechanics, grinding, hand and power tools, plasma cutting, welding, torches.
• Wear full-body harness while working on railcars.

This position will work Monday-Friday 5:00 A.M.-1:30 P.M. and the pay rate starts at $20/hour but could go up based on previous experience. There is room for advancement once hired on.

All employees are required to wear full-body harness and work on top of railcars to make repairs using basic mechanics, grinding, hand and power tools, plasma cutting, welding, torches, etc.
