Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repairs, modifies, and upgrades rail cars according to specs.
• Rebuilds car components such as bolsters and doors.
• Welds up to 30% of time and uses cutting torch.
• Perform mechanical labor ~95% of time and inspect equipment.
• Operate forklift and handle pipe work and subassemblies.
• Enter repair information into the system and test function.
• Maintain safety and comply with standards.
