Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience reading and understanding instructions (rules, bulletins, instructions, regs).
• Candidates must successfully complete an English assessment before interview.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects, wear, and damages.
• Perform maintenance tasks including initial terminal air brake tests and pre-trip inspections.
• Repair structural components of rolling stock (fabricating, cutting, welding, etc.).
• Remove and replace faulty components (trucks, air brake systems, etc.).
• Prepare surfaces for painting, welding, and fabrication; ensure readiness.
