Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies, a leading designer and manufacturer of freight rail equipment, seeks an Inspector, Associate to ensure in-process and completed railcar work meets requirements.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, reporting non-conformances, and communicating with customers as needed. The role requires ability to read blueprints, measure parts, and follow the facility's Inspection and Test Plan, with safety and teamwork at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Identify core types and component parts as part of inspection duties.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
• Learn and follow the facility's Inspection and Test Plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections and notify production of repairs.
• Notify Quality Assurance Manager of non-conformances.
• Inspect work to meet Greenbrier and regulatory requirements.
• Follow EH&S rules and training guidance.
• Liaise with customers on technical issues.
