Job summary

Marmon Holdings, via its Marmon railcar group, is seeking an Inspector to conduct thorough inspections and coordinate repairs under AAR/FRA and DOT regulations. You will handle documentation, estimates, and release procedures for railcars and components in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Role requires 3–5 years in railcar inspection, NDT VT II certification, and proficiency with AS400 and MS Office. On-site work in a heavy industrial environment with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NDT VT Level II Certification per AAR M1002 Appendix T or equivalent.
• 3–5 years railcar inspection/repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, mechanical, and regulatory inspections of railcars and components.
• Prepare Billing Repair Card estimates, repair codes, labor hours, and material estimates.
• Ensure nonconforming conditions are documented and released per regulations.
