Job summary

Marmon Rail Group is seeking a Corporate Maintenance Manager (hybrid) to drive timely progression of railcars through repair events and ensure accurate documentation. You will act as the primary contact for shops, review repair estimates, and use data analysis to identify recurring maintenance issues and improvement opportunities.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to rail industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma with enhanced work experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience preferably within the railroad industry.
• Shop repair and/or equipment leasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews billing repair cards for accuracy, compliance and consistency across shops and network.
• Ensures repair charges are appropriate via data analytics.
• Escalates repair vs. scrap determination for repair candidates.
• Drives timely movement of cars through shop and serves as primary point of contact for shops.
• Supports frequent analysis & reporting of maintenance items to identify trends.
