Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Helper to support railcar maintenance and repair across our Georgia operations. The role requires assisting with maintenance, preparing cars for service, and performing related tasks in a dusty shop environment.

The candidate should have at least a High School diploma or GED and one year in maintenance, with familiarity of MSHA regulations preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year in the maintenance field.
• Familiarity with MSHA regulations (preferred).
• Experience in welding, acetylene cutting, fabrication and plumbing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of railcars.
• Prepare cars for maintenance and repair.
• Complete required maintenance paperwork and documentation.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Overtime and some weekend work may be required.
