Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, supplies and distributes aggregate materials such as granite, river gravel, limestone, natural sand, and more. This rail‑served aggregate distribution network covers Florida, Southern Mississippi, South Carolina, and Alabama.

Maintenance Helper (Full‑time, Entry level)

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Assist welder with preparing cars for necessary maintenance and repair.
  • Assist with performance of maintenance and repair on railcars and other miscellaneous work.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork required for maintenance, parts and service work orders, invoices, and safety documentation.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to management.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including all equipment and the facility.
  • Perform a wide range of duties as needed and be willing to help wherever required.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a good portion of the day; work in covered shop, dust, noisy areas; walk, bend, stoop, lift, or work in awkward positions; handle machinery hazards.
  • Work overtime and weekends as business needs determine.
