Tyson Foods is seeking a candidate to operate a locomotive and manage rail car movements on site. The role requires reading instructions, following procedures, and performing data entry for dispatch and ticketing systems.

Candidate must have 6 months of recent work history, be able to lift up to 60 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and be able to work in variable environments including hot, dusty, and wet conditions. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable work history within the past 12 months.
• Ability to operate a locomotive and move rail cars per procedures.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Operate locomotive/trackmobile and perform control room panel functions.
• Coordinate switching of cars and manage track clearances.
• Handle switches/hand brakes following programs.
• Record data and dispatch information accurately.
• Operate scales and document ingredients via the ticketing system.
• Unload feed ingredients and route to storage silos.
• Perform minor maintenance with hand tools.
• Follow all Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
