Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, is seeking a Rail Crew Laborer to perform general labor in a rail yard environment in Florida. Responsibilities include shoveling, sweeping, operating hand tools and basic equipment, and moving materials under supervision.

Training programs may lead to the Rail Conductor and Rail Specialist tracks. Applicants should be able to meet physical requirements and pass FRA standards; prior rail or aggregate experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; related experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must meet physical requirements and maintain safety standards.
• Loader and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and promote a safe work environment.
• Perform tasks safely and efficiently; operate basic equipment as instructed.
• Follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Duties may be supplemented as needed.
