Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking an entry-level Factory Commissioning Test Technician for the 2nd shift to join the Rolling Stock team. You will train and help grow in this role, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing next-generation light rail, locomotives, and coaches.

You should be familiar with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, and be able to read schematics, work independently or in a team, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in electrical testing or related field.
• Proficient in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Associate degree preferred in engineering/mechatronics.

Aufgaben

• Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on locomotives and coaches.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures and document results.
• Operate state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Communicate technical information clearly to team members.
• Read and interpret schematics and use PTU tools for on-board troubleshooting.
