Job summary

Siemens Mobility, Rolling Stock Division is seeking an Assembler Technician I at our Lexington, NC facility. You will support final assembly of rail vehicles, building roofs, harnesses, racks, panels, and electrical systems, in a high-energy production environment.

The role requires basic English communication, ability to read blueprints, and a high school diploma or GED. Expect a Monday–Thursday schedule with steady overtime opportunities and growth within a world-class rail manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and part lists is helpful.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units in passenger coaches, including roofs, harnesses, racks and panels.
• Install mechanical components such as insulation, sidewall panels, seating, and luggage racks.
• Route and connect electrical wiring harnesses to final termination points.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, or refurbish components as needed.
• Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and verbal instructions.
