Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rail clearance analysis and resolve clearance issues.
• Own engineering scope including timelines, accuracy, and deliverables.
• Select appropriate railcars and validate weight distribution and limitations.
• Coordinate with railroad clearance departments and inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with AAR regulations and customer-specific requirements.
• Lead securement planning and oversee field execution.
• Monitor engineering-related costs and support vendor coordination.
• Communicate project risks, issues, and solutions to leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
