Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Risk Specialist to join the Sacramento, CA team on-site. You will support risk management across programs, maintain risk tools, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive effective performance and control.

Key duties include managing the risk register, updating the Risk Management Plan, and delivering risk reports. The role requires BA/BS with 4+ years of experience and offers sponsorship with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience with risk management in large infrastructure or construction projects is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and communicate with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cost and schedule baselines to assess risk exposures
• Support inputs for grants, reporting, and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain risk reporting tools for cost and schedule risk analysis
• Manage the Authority’s risk register coordinating program and project risks
• Update the Program Risk Management Plan and prepare quarterly risk reports
• Provide guidance and templates for project risk management including qualitative and quantitative assessments
• Support teams in implementing risk strategies and maintaining contingency plans
• Review project-level risk assessments for accuracy and effectiveness
• Collaborate with Enterprise Risk to align with overall risk management goals
