Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction experience as an Office Engineer for rail/transit projects.
• Experience with Procore software.
• Experience reviewing engineering designs and shop drawings for constructability.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and review Contractor submittals, plan reviews, and payment requisitions; coordinate meetings.
• Provide estimating, budget, scope development, and change order support.
• Control documents using Procore and project databases.
• Prepare letters, minutes, and reports.
• Validate invoices against project progress.
• Suggest construction sequence and methods for railroad projects.
• Assist in concurrence forms and related contractor documents.
• Generate project status reports and manage progress meetings.
• Maintain digital photo record of construction progress.
• Coordinate with labor, utilities, and agencies.
• Ensure safety compliance per OSHA; issue notices if needed.
• Ensure contractor Shop Drawings are approved before work.
• Document critical issues and changes during Contract Term.
