Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our 1st shift team in Alpharetta, GA. You will interpret drawings and work orders, assemble components, and verify that each unit meets quality requirements.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with electromechanical assembly and wiring, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and strong English communication. Proactive teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with electromechanical assembly, wiring, and reading schematic drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and operate power tools.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, bills of materials, and specifications to determine assembly requirements.
• Assemble, align, position, and fasten parts, components, and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.
• Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and prepare parts for mounting equipment or wiring as needed.
• Strip and crimp wires before installation.
• Wire panels and cabinets using electrical schematics.
• Measure, inspect, and test parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and performance specifications.
