Olsson is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Rail Traffic team. You will support traffic and preemption analysis, collaborate with Class I railroads, state DOTs, and clients, and help deliver projects that improve safety and mobility nationwide.

This role emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and professional growth, with occasional travel to job sites and client meetings. A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a PE license are required, along with 6+ years of traffic/transportation experience and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license are required.
• 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Synchro, or similar software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and contribute to reviews and preparation of plans and studies.
• Assist with traffic and preemption analysis and design.
• Collaborate closely with team members on complex projects.
