Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC in Spokane, Washington is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. You will set up and operate production machinery, read work orders and blueprints, and perform basic maintenance tasks in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly line is an asset.
• Experience in operating machinery and / or mobile equipment.
• Ability to read work orders and blueprints preferred.
• Must be able to work as a team member collaborating with colleagues.
• Basic mathematical calculation experience in adding and subtracting whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates production machinery and/or mobile equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain and operate with hand and power tools.
• Perform physical labor requirements.
• Perform regular and basic preventative maintenance checks and tasks.
• Maintain required paperwork and documentation of all work performed on equipment as outlined in preventative maintenance program.
• Adhere to Nortrak's Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies.
• Model and lead our Nortrak Blue culture and values: (Respect, Responsibility, Curiosity, Courage, Passion, and Diversity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
