Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Rail Systems Coordinator in Fresno, CA to support the High-Speed Rail program by coordinating design, construction, integration and commissioning of rail systems.

You will work under the Deputy Program Construction Director, coordinating with design-build teams, consultants, and Authority staff to resolve issues, manage interfaces, and meet milestones with a focus on systems engineering and project management best practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 years or equivalent experience in infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience in rail systems engineering, systems integration, or project/construction management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with system integration and commissioning of complex rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage oversight of rail systems delivery across all project phases.
• Support timely resolution of rail systems issues, including design-build coordination and testing.
• Monitor schedules and review look-ahead plans to confirm milestones are achievable.
• Resolve contracts, third-party, and technical matters affecting rail systems delivery.
• Develop and improve strategies, policies, and tools for rail systems oversight.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical, logistical, and contractual issues.
