Job summary

Jacobs Civil Consultants, Inc in New York, NY seeks a Civil Engineer Professional to support rail and mega-track projects. The role involves modeling rails with OpenTrack, designing layouts in OpenRoads, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams on site.

You will prepare easement maps, conduct on-site inspections, and develop data analyses using Power BI and Smartsheet to support Major Programs in the Americas East region. Hybrid schedule and domestic travel are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related work experience accepted in lieu.
• Experience with OpenTrack, OpenRoads, AutoCAD and Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model rail systems using OpenTrack for project analysis.
• Prepare track design layouts in Bentley OpenRoads.
• Develop on-site inspection checklists for rail components.
• Prepare easement maps with Microstation and GIS data.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and real estate teams on ROW.
• Support PowerBI dashboards for Major Programs.
