Job summary

Petroleum Service Corporation seeks a Rail Supervisor to lead site-level teams ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to procedures. You will coordinate labor, equipment, and schedules, while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of AAR Field Manual and tank car operations, plus on-site work commitment in a dynamic industrial setting. This role requires fluent English, punctuality, and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English is required for communication and safety.
  • On-site attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Knowledge of AAR Field Manual and Clll Manual is required.
  • Understanding of tank, hopper, and gondola cars and customer procedures/SDSs.
  • Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and environmental conditions.
  • Exposure to chemicals/fumes may occur in an industrial setting.
  • Wearing PPE and passing medical exams related to PPE is required.

  • Schedule daily workload and coordinate with on-site contacts to schedule work timely.
  • Maintains communication with leadership and other departments to support operational goals.
  • Promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members.
  • Completes any other duties assigned to complete the job.

Rail Supervisor
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Directly manages site-level workgroups to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality daily operations
  • Enforces procedures, safety policies, and work instructions to maintain compliance and operational consistency
  • Monitors team productivity and performance, providing coaching and corrective action as needed
  • Coordinates labor, equipment, and scheduling to meet customer and production requirements
  • Schedule Daily work load - Coordinate with on-sites contacts to schedule work in a timely manner.
  • Maintains communication with leadership and other departments to support operational goals
  • Promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
Job Requirements:
  • Speak, write, read fluent English. Hear and have good vision
  • Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
  • Must possess strong knowledge of the AAR Field Manual and Clll Manual
  • Must have strong knowledge of tank cars, hopper cars, and gondola cars along with customer procedures, and SDS's.
  • Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
  • Work may involve protected and monitored exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, or other environmental conditions typical of an industrial facility
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
