Job summary

Stadler is seeking a Test & Commissioning Engineer to support validation, integration, and commissioning of signaling systems, including CBTC and ATO technologies. You will work with engineering, systems, and project teams to troubleshoot, maintain configurations in the field, and produce clear documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years in signaling testing, system verification, or commissioning.
  • Familiarity with railway signaling systems including CBTC and ATO basics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning Test & Commissioning prerequisites and priorities.
  • Develop, maintain, and update T&C procedures, test protocols, and workflows.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute T&C activities per approved documentation.
  • Complete all test records, including data sheets, defect reports, and validation docs.
  • Identify and report technical and project issues and support mitigation actions.
  • Manage hardware and software configurations in the field with proper documentation.
  • Conduct investigations using remote diagnostic data to support troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with engineering, operations, and supplier teams.
