Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required or combined education and Siemens-relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience supporting or leading negotiations for major contracts with suppliers; rail sector experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of rolling stock maintenance techniques and planning systems (SAP or Maximo).
• Knowledge of Lean Management and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to travel domestically approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rolling Stock overhaul program in alignment with the maintenance regime to ensure fleet work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in support of service targets.
• Develop and maintain required overhaul documentation to provide clear project structure, execution guidance, and contractual support throughout the program.
• Coordinate facility readiness, fleet availability, staffing, and customer alignment to ensure the Lexington maintenance facility can execute overhaul activities efficiently and on time.
• Partner with material logistics, customers, and internal teams to ensure parts, resources, and processes are in place to support uninterrupted maintenance and overhaul operations.
• Monitor work progress, financial performance, risks, configuration management, continuous improvement opportunities, and quality plan execution to drive program performance and compliance.
