Job summary

Transco Rail Services in Miles City, Montana, seeks a Repair Manager to schedule work and production for the Miles City Repair Facility. You will lead Area Managers and Supervisors, monitor daily processes, and run toolbox meetings.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 5+ years’ supervisory rail car experience, with strong knowledge of FRA and AAR regulations. You will guide safety training and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferably 5+ years of supervisory experience within rail car inspections, test, and repair.
• Knowledge of FRA regulations governing inspection and testing of rail cars, and AAR Interchange Rules.
• Ability to read prints and drawings, including weld and NDT symbols.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, motivate and lead production managers and supervisors in all repair activities.
• Ensure safe working habits and conditions by training and periodic reviews of employees and work areas.
• Support QA by ensuring compliance with OSHA, AAR, FRA, company and customer requirements for quality, environmental, health and safety.
