Job summary

MCT Companies is seeking a technician to install and service Transport Refrigeration Units and Auxiliary Powered Units in trucks and trailers at our Fresno, CA location. You will perform installs, repairs, and component replacements, aiming to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, system tests, and updating repair records while maintaining safety standards and teamwork. Competitive hourly pay with multiple shifts and DOE.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn about Transport Refrigeration Units (TRUs), APUs and trailers.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and tools to complete work.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills including Windows-based software (Karmak Fusion a plus; Outlook/Word helpful).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair TRUs and APUs on trucks/rail equipment in a timely manner.
• Identify worn or damaged parts via inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete service records and repair orders accurately.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and upgrades.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE during tasks.
• Collaborate with team and management on assigned work.
