MCT Companies is seeking a skilled technician to install and service Transport Refrigeration Units and Auxiliary Powered Units in trucks and trailers. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, careful inspections, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work in a team, perform diagnostics, and maintain accurate service records to support reliability and customer satisfaction. We offer overtime and on-call bonuses, with a focus on collaboration, safety, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Aptitude in a technical/mechanical role and willingness to learn about Transport Refrigeration Units (TRU) and auxiliary powered units (APU).
• Technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, materials, methods and tools to perform, prioritize and complete work.
• Ability to use critical thinking, problem solving, and good judgment to work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Installs new refrigeration units in TRU/trailer environments in a timely and proficient manner.
• Conducts inspections and diagnostic tests to determine unit condition and perform repairs.
• Performs replacements and adjustments of refrigeration components and ensures proper documentation of services.
