Job summary

Stadler Rail AG seeks a Final Assembly Project Manager (Assistant to the Head of Production) to provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to ensure efficient rail production and maintenance activities. This role supports day-to-day operations, tracks performance, coordinates communication, and ensures compliance with rail industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, operations.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a manufacturing environment, with preference for rail industry experience.
  • Proven experience in administrative or coordinator roles supporting senior leadership.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing or operational setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily rail production and maintenance activities.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Coordinate between departments (engineering, operations, supply chain, safety).
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and communications for the Head of Production.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and production performance summaries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and production data.
  • Organize operational reviews and production schedules.
  • Collect and analyze production and maintenance data (e.g., fleet performance, delays, availability).
  • Prepare dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Highlight operational risks or inefficiencies.
