Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Rail Operations Specialist in the United States, based in Charlotte, NC, to drive efficient intermodal rail network performance. Qualifications

• College degree required.
• Experience in transportation and/or logistics, preferably rail.
• Strong analytical and written/comms skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications in a networked environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movement of rail cargo.
• Monitor cargo within rail network for timely and safe delivery.
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Serve as escalation point for internal stakeholders.
• Use data to measure performance and drive decisions.
