Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Rail Analyst in Atlanta, GA to support rail fleet operations through financial processing, asset tracking, and service issue resolution. You will help manage lease payments, maintenance spend, and railcar visibility while coordinating with railroads to resolve disruptions.

The role requires 2–5 years in rail logistics, experience with railcar tracking systems and TMS, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of experience in rail logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with railcar tracking systems and transportation management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly in financial and invoice processing.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Railcar Tracking & Fleet Visibility: monitor movements, track locations, identify delays and disruptions.
• Lease Payment Processing: review/invoice processing, reconcile charges, coordinate with lessors.
• Maintenance Invoice Management: review/validate/process maintenance invoices with proper documentation.
• Railroad Case Management: manage claims with railroads, document and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Reporting & Analysis: generate fleet/performance reports, analyze trends, support budgeting/forecasting.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: collaborate with logistics, plant ops, finance, and external rail partners.
