Job summary
Quikrete Rail is seeking a Rail Analyst in Atlanta, GA to support rail fleet operations through financial processing, asset tracking, and service issue resolution. You will ensure accurate lease payments, control maintenance costs, and maintain real-time railcar visibility while coordinating with railroads to resolve disruptions.
The role requires 2–5 years in rail logistics or related fields, proficiency with rail management systems, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2–5 years of rail logistics or supply chain operations experience.
- Experience with railcar tracking systems and transportation management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor railcar movements and maintain fleet visibility using management tools.
- Process railcar lease invoices and reconcile with fleet data and contracts.
- Review maintenance invoices and ensure they align with scope and rates.
- File and manage claims with railroads and coordinate resolutions.
- Generate reports on fleet performance, costs, and service metrics.
- Collaborate with logistics, plant ops, finance, and rail partners.
