Job summary

Keolis America, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Electrician to inspect, install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on locomotives and coaches. You will ensure timely completion of electrical duties and support related tasks as assigned.

The role requires working in a union environment with non-negotiable pay; starting at 40.75 per hour. Travel across the commuter rail network in Massachusetts and Rhode Island is required, with safety and regulatory compliance playing a key part

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Electro-mechanical job experience, journeyman license, apprentice position, or related applicable experience preferred.
Works with AC/DC at low and high voltage levels.
Understands dangers of large batteries, capacitors, etc.

Responsibilities

Performs installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshoo t ing of electrical circuits in locomotives and passenger coaches.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, and staff.
Communicates with diverse disciplines at all levels.
Completes duties safely and complies with safety rules and procedures.
Documents tasks and work performed; participates in training.
