Qualifications

• Reads electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Proficient in wiring and installing electrical components.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical components into rail cars.
• Identify electrical problems using testing devices.
• Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers and contactors.
• Run wiring for passenger rail cars (110v, 480v, 74v).
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Notify supervisor of faulty equipment.
• Wear protective equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Complete daily progress reports and adhere to policies and procedures.
