RailWorks is a leading rail maintenance and infrastructure solutions provider in North America. The Equipment Operator at our Stockton site will operate heavy equipment, perform inspections, and assist with daily tasks to support track construction and maintenance.

This novice-level role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required; the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience operating heavy equipment in construction.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Responsabilités

• Inspects, maintains, and operates maintenance equipment such as backhoes and loaders.
• Operates equipment to move, load, or unload material or perform other rail related maintenance tasks.
• Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Takes actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• While operating equipment, communicate with others using verbal and non-verbal hand signals.
