Job summary

Auto Warehousing Company is hiring 5 full-time Rail Loaders at our Marysville location. You will prepare railcars for loading, drive vehicles onto railcars, and securely fasten them according to manufacturer and railroad standards. This is tough outdoor work, typically days Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m.

to completion (usually 8–10 hours). Candidates must be fluent in English, have a high school diploma, a valid state driver's license, and pass safety tests.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a valid State Driver's license.
• Good balance and ability to maintain 3 points of contact.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Pass AWC Safe Driving and Rail Safety tests with 80%+ accuracy.
• Able to work at heights up to 15 feet.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles onto rail cars.
• Secure vehicles on rail cars using chocks or chains.
• Report damage to lead, supervisor, or manager.
• Inspect vehicles for damage.
• Train new employees and temporary workers.
• Maintain a positive conduct in the workplace.
