Job summary

Auto Warehousing Company, a family-owned North American leader in finished vehicle logistics, is hiring several full-time Rail Loaders for the Toledo area. This role prepares railcars for loading, drives vehicles onto railcars, and secures vehicles per standards.

Shifts include nights and days with corresponding pay: night up to $25.43/hr (probation $24.59), day up to $23.93/hr (probation $23.09). Overtime may occur; benefits after introductory period are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must have a valid State Driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare railcars for loading.
• Drive vehicles onto rail cars and secure them.
• Set up and adjust bridge plates and ramps.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report issues.
• Train new employees and maintain safety practices.
