Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
• English communication skills and accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of EHS rules, product standards, workmanship requirements, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with machines, hand tools, and power tools and operator maintenance.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean principles.
• Prefer GMP knowledge and ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Build gearboxes: mount housings/couplings; install gears, bearings, spacers, covers, and fasteners.
• Use hand/power tools to align, fit, fasten, drill, and tap to spec.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete assemblies accurately.
• Measure tolerances/clearances with precision instruments; inspect, test, and adjust for quality and customer requirements.
• Mark IDs, attach nameplates, maintain tool inventory, and keep parts and work areas clean.
• Participate in 6S audits, safety walks, and continuous improvement activities.
