Job summary

American Rail Marketing L.L.C. seeks a Rail Crew Foreman / Grapple Truck Operator to lead a small crew in removing railroad rail and track material. The role requires on-track experience, a valid CDL, and strong safety discipline.

You will operate a boom-truck, load materials, and ensure timely production while complying with FRA/OSHA rules. You’ll schedule daily work, communicate with railroad customers, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21+ years old with valid CDL driving license (A or B).
  • Minimum 2 years CDL drivers’ experience and 2 years railroad boom truck ops.
  • Willing to travel 3 weeks per month and pass pre-offer drug test.
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew of 2-4 Laborers in processing and removal of rail and track material.
  • Ensure safety standards (FRA/OSHA) and company policies are followed.
  • Coordinate daily crew scheduling and meet production goals.
  • Operate a boom-truck and load/unload rail and track materials safely.
  • Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment.
