Job summary

Progress Rail in Mayfield, KY is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, a Journeyman card or related degree, and knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. OSHA 10 certified workers are preferred, and a strong commitment to safety is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Journeyman repair preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• OSHA 10 hours certified.
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and replace worn parts.
• Read QWI and other work instructions to assemble product.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document results.
