The primary duties of the Rail Construction EIT/Coordinator will be to assist the construction manager and inspection teams on track and civil, structural, facility, and other construction types for a variety of mainline, industrial, public agency, yard and terminal projects with Class I railroads, transit agencies, shortline railroads, and industrial clients. Civil and track construction assignments may include siding and mainline construction, special trackwork, utilities, drainage features, PTC and signal and communications construction. Structural construction may include railroad underpasses and retaining wall construction and public agency overpass/underpass inspection/coordination. The Rail Construction EIT will assist the construction manager with all facets of project execution including receiving and tracking RFIs, submittals and other data.
