Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to report to the designated work location.
• Able to work in extreme all-weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely switching railcars and controlling train movement.
• Climb on/off equipment, set/release hand brakes, and inspect/maintain rails within yards.
• Observe and relay signals for train movement and speed control.
• Operate track switches and derails to route trains.
• Inspect cars and monitor track conditions; report issues.
