Job summary

CPKC in Beasley, Texas is seeking a Conductor to join our train crew, supporting switching, yard movements, and safety-critical operations in a 24/7 environment. You must stay vigilant, pass required physical tasks, and communicate clearly by radio to ensure safe train movements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding work (walk up to 6 miles a day, lift up to 80 pounds).
• Willingness to work unscheduled shifts in a 24/7 environment.
• 12-hour shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in train or yard service depending on seniority.
• Carry out instructions detailing a train's route and movements.
• Coordinate switching of cars, including coupling/uncoupling.
