Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Rail/Civil Engineering Specialist in Los Angeles to design and produce bid-ready planning and construction documents for transit projects, including Metro and Metrolink.

The role emphasizes use of MicroStation and AutoCAD, collaboration with clients, and contributing to multidisciplinary rail projects with fast-paced schedules. EIT preferred, civil transportation fundamentals essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design rail alignments, drainage, grading and guideway elements using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Participate in planning, design and construction projects.
• Develop construction documents with technical drawings and specs.
• Prepare content for client meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Develop technical design reports, calculations, and memos.

## Rail/Civil Engineering SpecialistApply: South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California: Full time: Posted Today: JR5816STV’s Transit/Transportation team is seeking a Rail/Civil Engineering Specialist to join our highly skilled Transportation team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in rail design and construction projects. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with transit and transportation projects such as Metro and Metrolink. As a Rail Civil Engineering Specialist, you will focus on the design and production of planning and construction bid documents.
